
Hip hop artist, Kazeem Yusuf Olawale popularly called YBEE has said the music industry is a hard environment to crack upcoming artist.
YBEE, is a 26-year-old Nigeria singer and a songwriter.
He dropped his first track titled “Mo sa fejo” in 2009 produced by Young D, and has since gone on to produce 15 other tracks.
In an interview with The Nation, the young artist said that music has made him a better person.
“Basically, highlife and hip hop music is what I do. Music has helped me a lot, and I can actually sing on any beat, as at now.”

Yusuf revealed that happenings around him are where he gets his inspiration to do his songs. “My sources of inspirations come from what I see on the street and what I hear from people. When I am alone, everything comes back to mind, and I write them down he said
His latest songs “Gbera” and “Mowadupe” produced by Shocker was released in January 2019 and he made it known that he is planning on dropping a new album “No title” on February.
Yusuf, said that he has the challenge of promoting himself, after each song is released,, but also revealed that “aside music I also barb. I love barbing; I learnt it and UI use it to support my musical career as well.”
To his fellow artist, YBEE said they should focus, always be ready to make correction, learn from their superior and be consistence in whatever they are doing.
