The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, has urged Nigerians in the public sector to give the country their best instead of just discharging their duties.
The HCSF spoke yesterday when the top management workers in her office organised a welcome reception on her first day in office as the substantive HCSF.
A statement by the Director of Information in the HCSF office, Olawunmi Ogunmosunle, said Dr Yemi-Esan called for cooperation from all the people in the Federal Civil Service, saying: “Unity is the hallmark of success.”
The HCSF advised the workers to team up with her and work as one family.

“God will give us the grace to carry out this enormous responsibility,” she added.
Dr. Yemi-Esan stressed that with the cooperation of everybody, “we will not disappoint the President in the discharge of our duties but leave a lasting legacy for our children”.
President Muhammadu Buhari confirmed the appointment of Dr Folasade Omolara Yemi-Esan as the Head of Civil Service of the Federation on Friday, February 28, 2020.
She had been on acting capacity since Thursday, September 19, 2019.
