Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) striker, Ajani Ibrahim has told SportingLife that he is expecting a better second stanza of the league after his four goals helped the Oluyole Warriors to end the first stanza on 11th spot on the log with26 points from 19 matches.
Ibrahim who crossed to the Ibadan side from Sunshine Stars has netted against Giwa FC (two goals) and one each against Lobi Stars and El Kanemi Warriors all in front of the club’s fans at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
The former U-23 invitee revealed that he was elated to score in 3SC last two home matches before the end of the first stanza and that he would be happier to add more when the second stanza kicks off.
Ibrahim said: “I am happy to have ended the first stanza on a good note. I am looking forward to the second stanza with more optimism to score more goals to help Shooting Stars on the league table.”
