Igbo leader seeks support for APC

A leader of the Igbo in Lagos, Eze Christian Udechukwu, has urged the Igbo to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.

He spoke while addressing Igbo residents in Alimosho area at a meeting in his Ikotun palace.

The monarch said: “For us to be in government, we have to support the ruling party. ln Lagos State, we are duly represented.

“Because of this, we can tell the government what we want and they will be happy to do for it us because we are in support of the government.

“We belong to APC. All we are asking for are credible candidates to represent us in all the local governments.”

A member of Lagos State House of Assembly representing Oshodi-lsolo Constituency, Jude ldimegwu, urged the lgbo to change their attitude as life is all about change.

He said: “Nothing is constant. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had their time. We have to tell ourselves the truth, we should support the ruling party and its government.”
