Iheanacho’s goal for Foxes’ goal of the month

LEICESTER City has shortlisted Kelechi Iheanacho’s strike against Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League  among the nominations for the October goal of the month.

Leicester recorded wins over Zorya Luhansk and AEK Athens to top Group G in the UEFA Europa League, Brendan Rodgers’ men currently sit second in the Premier League.

Four members of City’s first team populate the list of October nominees, with strikes from Harvey Barnes and Kelechi Iheanacho against Zorya both being nominated.

Jamie Vardy’s late winner at Arsenal in the Premier League, is also on the vote, while Hamza Choudhury’s first-half effort at AEK Athens completes the senior representation.
