FORMER Commissioner that represented Ndokwa Nation in DESOPADEC, Delta State, Sir Kenny Okolugbo, has joined the league of 50. He was celebrated by family and friends on Wednesday, including Senator Florence Ita-Giwa.
Ita-Giwa said she couldn’t say no to the invitation even though she had only met the celebrant once and it was during a television programme.
According to her, she was impressed with Okolugbo’s knowledge of Bakassi issues. She added that he spoke on her side and in support of the people of Bakassi.
Ita-Giwa also said he was ready to help and provide information to help their cause. The senator is passionate about the people of Bakassi and she always challenges the government to pay more attention to their lights.
Okolugbo, who is also the Managing Director of Kenkol Company, studied Political Science at the Edo State University, Ekpoma, Benin. That was the major foundation of his knowledge of politics. He has also declared his intention to serve the Ndokwa Nation in the House of Representatives on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party.
