HAVE you ever wondered who is the role model of the superstar photographer, TY Bello? While celebrating her elder sister, Folake Aina, at 60, she revealed that she modeled her life after her.
She said growing up, she wanted to be like her who she fondly calls ‘Sisimi’ and she learnt many things from her.
“…as far back as I remember, she’s the one person I’ve always wanted to be like and it is exciting that she still is. Many things that I do – my love for big hair, the way I keep my home almost near perfect, the way I serve food, the way there has to be a little bit of oomph in my fashion, my prayer life, and even the way I wife, mother, and lead. Every aspect of the woman I am has been taught by my darling Sisimi,” she shared.
She appreciated her sister for being a mother and a friend to her, saying she is the most beautiful 60-year-old she has ever photographed.
A colourful party was held to celebrate Aina in Lagos on Thursday. Her husband, Sola Aina, and their four children shared how she inspires everyone around her, including them.
Entertainers such as Waje, Omawumi, Laycon, Gbenga Adeyinka, Hyenana, and a host of others were spotted at the birthday reception.
