The Katsina State branch of the People’s Democratic Party, on Sunday stated it had sent a reminder to the Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Tanko Mohammed, regarding its pending case before the Supreme Court on the dissolution of local governments and subsequent inauguration of transition committees by the state government

State Chairman of the Party, Salisu Majigiri told The Nation in a chat that the case was supposed to be heard at the Supreme Court on April 24 this year but that the advent of the Coronavirus pandemic, made the court not to sit, as the matter was postponed.
