THE Katsina State branch of National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) has begun mass production of face masks to assist the government in the fight against COVID 19 Pandemic.
State Coordinator of NYSC Alhaji Ahidjo Yahaya, who spoke to Governor Bello Masari, said corps members were producing hand sanitisers to be donated with the face masks.

He said members used skills acquired during the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme in the camp, to manufacture COVID-19 products.
The governor was inspecting the camp, which is to be used as an Isolation Centre.
The Coordinator further explained that the corps members will soon come out with the face masks and the hand sanitizers to be donated to the State government free of charge.
