The office of the Administrator General and Public Trustees of Lagos State handled 770 cases in year 2020, according to the Director, Mrs Omotola Rotimi.
Mrs Rotimi disclosed the case files bordered on new death benefits, new estate files, court cases, old ongoing files, general petitions, court processes received and referrals to other ministries, departments and agencies.
Mrs Rotimi said matters bordering on real estates topped the files with 222 case files.
She said her office received 138 court cases while general petitions accounted for 132 files.
She said the department successfully handled 81 court cases while 80 others are ongoing.
She said 37 cases were referred to other ministries, departments and agencies of the state government while it successfully executed 26 death benefits to deserving beneficiaries.
