To enhance the operational capabilities of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), the Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), has added six new GAC saloon cars to the unit’s fleet.
During a brief ceremony, the vehicles were officially handed over to CSP Shola Jejeloye, Commander of the RRS.
Degbola Lewis, representing the Fund’s Executive Secretary, presented the cars to the police.
This initiative aims to improve the efficiency and responsiveness of the RRS in maintaining law and order throughout Lagos State.

CSP Jejeloye expressed his gratitude for the new vehicles, assuring that they would be effectively utilized to combat crime and ensure the safety of Lagos residents.
“These cars will significantly aid our operations and improve our ability to respond swiftly to incidents,” he stated.
The LSSTF’s donation shows the ongoing commitment of the Lagos state government to support law enforcement agencies and improve security infrastructure within the state.
The introduction of these vehicles is expected to enhance the RRS’s mobility and operational reach, reinforcing the squad’s role in crime prevention and emergency response.
