The curfew imposed on Lagos State in the wake of the recent #ENDSARS protests has now been completely lifted.

The curfew had been intermittently reviewed by the government as the security situation improved.

But it was finally over last night after the government said residents “are free to go about their business without any hindrance whatsoever.”

Information and Strategy Commissioner, Gbenga Omotoso, said:  “The curfew imposed on Lagos State after the hijack of the peaceful #EndSARS protests has been lifted immediately. The 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. curfew imposed by the Federal Government to curb the spread of COVID-19 remains.
