Lagos State on Thursday confirmed 87 new coronavirus cases.
Lagos Commissioner for Health Professor Akin Abayomi made this known in a Tweet.
He further said that 49 patients have bee discharged after testing negative for COVID-19 twice.
He said “87 new #COVID19 cases were confirmed in Lagos on April 29, 2020.
“The good news is that 49 additional #COVID19 survivors have been discharged following their full recovery.”
So far, Lagos has recorded 947 cases, 187 discharged and 20 deaths.
