The Lagos State Printing Corporation (LSPC) on Thursday unveiled its new signage  targeted at giving greater visibility to the corporation and enhancing the beauty of its presence within the state.

The ceremony was held at the Lagos State Printing Corporation, Ikeja, Lagos.

Commissioner for Information and Strategy Gbenga Omotoso, who did the unveiling, urged the management to use the new signage to attract businesses and make more money for the corporation.

“The signage symbolises a lot of things. It is very nice and very neat. It shouts and it will attract anybody coming this way to see it. So I will expect them to use it to attract business to the corporation. They should use it as a symbol of a better thing to come. It will challenge them to work harder and to make more money, attracting more customers and doing a very good job,” the commissioner said.

The signage was designed by National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving with the corporation.

The commissioner hailed  them for a job well done.

“The signage and the big sign at the gate show a lot about this corporation. If you see them as beautiful as they are, people will know that these are people that will produce beautiful work and if you trust them with your job, they will be able to deliver. So the symbolism of it should not be lost on us. It is not just a mere signage. It is not just something you are seeing at the gate. It is something that tells you a lot about the corporation and I congratulate the young people who did it. I also congratulate the GM for giving them the opportunity,” Omotoso said.

The General Manager, LSPC,  Kola Peregrino, said the corporation is well positioned to partner individuals and corporate organisations when it comes to printing jobs for good customer service delivery.

He added that the corporation is more concerned with the provision of high quality printing services that guarantee minimum worries at a reduced cost, with a view to making its printing works its best advertisement for professionalism.

“On assumption of office, my principal focus was to re-position the LSPC for all-round excellence by pushing the corporation ahead of competitors within the industry; not only in terms of quality services, but also to create a beautiful and serene environment for work. We, therefore, started with the refurbishment and modernisation of the Press Hall, which has since become the toast of the corporation.”
