Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu says his administration, in conjunction with local governments, will renovate 200 primary schools.
He spoke yesterday at the inauguration of Senator Oluremi Tinubu Model Nursery and Primary School built by the Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
The governor, represented by the Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Awofisayo, said his administration was committed to transforming education.

He said all schools in the state would be renovated to create a conducive learning environment for the pupils and encourage teachers to impart knowledge.
Dignitaries at the event included the governor’s wife, Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu; Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State chapter, Alhaji Tunde Balogun; APC Leader, Lagos Central Senatorial District, Prince Tajudeen Olusi and Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, Mrs. Omolola Essien.
Other APC chieftains present were Hon. Wale Osun, Hon. Hakeem Bamgbala, Hon. Wahab Alawiye-King and Hon. Jide Jimoh.
