Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has congratulated Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, on his re-election for another four-year term following his victory in last Saturday’s gubernatorial election.
Lalong, who is the Deputy Chairman of the APC Ondo Governorship Campaign Council said Akeredolu’s victory was a well-deserved one, considering his achievements in the last four years.
Lalong praised the resilience and faith of the people of Ondo State and the All Progressives Congress (APC), which he said is not going to be regretted because he has demonstrated to be a leader who has the interest of the people at heart.

While urging the electorate to continue to give the governor unflinching support as he settles down to the business of governance, Lalong urged Akeredolu to be magnanimous in victory and carry all Ondo people along with irrespective of their socio-political affiliations.
He also hailed the electorate for comporting themselves decently throughout the process of electioneering where they exhibited a high sense of responsibility and decorum.
The Governor also gave credit to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for organising a credible, free and fair election, and applauded security agencies for their professionalism.
