Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives Ahmed Idris Wase has commenced distribution of foodstuff to the less privileged in 20 wards of Wase federal constituency of Plateau State.
His Chief Press Secretary, Umar Mohammed Puma, said in a statement that the move was part of measures to cushion effects of the lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Puma said the distribution, which commenced in all 20 wards, witnessed the despatching of items to wards for distribution to households.
He noted that Wase said the food items were distributed without discrimination.
