The member representing Kaltungo/Shongom Federal Constituency of Gombe State Simon Karu, has backed the Nigeria Startup Bill.
According to Karu, the bill has a transformational potential for the economy.
Speaking after the First Reading of the bill, Karu said: “Having studied the Startup Bill, I’m convinced that its implementation would create not just meaningful opportunities for young Nigerians but it will also create wealth and hope for generations to come.”
Continuing, he said: “I have always supported initiatives and bills that empower young people because I believe in their ingenuity and potential to sustain today and tomorrow. The youth represent hope, strength and life itself and this bill is one that will empower young people.
“Whatever guarantees the hope and inspirations of our generations, past and future is what I represent in the House of Representatives.
“When our youths are assured of life of decency, equitable living standard and a fair society, Nigeria will not only thrive among nations but stand out great. As the youths say; we move!”
