Lawmaker feeds constituents

House of Representatives member, Hon. Ganiyu Johnson has said residents of Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 2 will continue to benefit from ‘the food for all’ programme as long as he is at the National Assembly.

The lawmaker who was represented by his wife, Funke during the distribution of food items at the constituency said the residents need to be supported in order to overcome the strains of hardship.

He explained there was need to rekindle hope in the people and encouraged them to be proactive in the fight against poverty.

The lawmaker said it was imperative to put succour on the faces of constituent members, who had been showing support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) despite limited resources at their disposal.

He noted that APC was doing all within the available resources to end poverty in the land. According to him, the country has the potential to address the needs of the people.

He said hard time don’t last, calling on members of his constituency to support government in the discharge of her duty.

He said that the APC was focused on how to improve the lives of the citizens of country, adding the party would do all that is constitution to end suffering.

Johnson promise never to downplay the needs of the people, stressing that the APC was on course to make life better for Nigerians.

The constituents who received packs of spaghetti, Sermovita, noodles and yam flour, according was his little way of showing appreciation to them.

Speaking, wife of the chairman, Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ibironke Olaleye said the lawmaker had kept his promise of being a representative for all.

She explained that the lawmaker understood the enormous need to assist the people to forge ahead particularly in period of economic hardship, ” this he has been doing with bias”.
