SOME National Assembly members from Ebonyi State have distributed palliatives to their constituents to cushion the effects of economic hardship trailing the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
Some of those who distributed the palliatibes include Senator Representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial zone, Senator Obinna Ogba, his Ebonyi South counterpart, Senator Ama Nnachi, the Member Representating Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency, Comrade Chinedu Ogah and Mr Makwe Livinus Makwe, representing Ohaozara, Onicha, Ivo Federal Constituency. Some of the items include thousands of bags of rice, undisclosed amount of money, motorcycles, sanitizers, tricycles and other items.
The Federal lawmakers while distributing the relieve items in their various constituencies explained that the gesture was in fulfillment of part of their campaign promise to see to the needs of members of their senatorial zone at all times.
