Lawmakers urged to be selfless

Members of the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area of Lagos have been urged to be selfless and accommodating in their legislative duties.

The Chairman of the council, Fatai Ayoola, gave the advice during the sworn-in of the lawmakers.

Ayoola solicited their support and promised to run an open-door policy where inhabitants would enjoy the dividends of democracy.

According to him, the cooperation of the legislative arm would be key to the success of the administration.

“We want all hands on deck to make Ajeromi-Ifelodun a better place for both residents and business purposes as it would attract investors and stockholders,” he said.

However, Kehinde Arogundade emerged as Leader of the House; Ifeoma Anene – Deputy Leader; Ola-Oke Musibau – Majority Leader and Gaber Olamilekan – Chief Whip.
