Laycon to feature in Grammys Recording Academy’s new series

Afrorap artist Olamilekan Agbeleshebioba aka Laycon will feature in the next episode of the Recording Academy’s new series tagged ‘Herbal Tea & White Sofas’ which will be released on Wednesday August 11, 2021.

The reality TV show winner will be discussing things he indulges in before and after every stage performance and a lot more.

The fierce nation signee gave a sizzling performance of his song “All Over Me” for Grammy’s ‘Press Play At Home’ series.

In the interview teaser, the reality TV show winner made it clear that he does not take alcohol before performing and also spoke about African delicacies.

Laycon said: “When I’m backstage, it’s just purely throat and water, no alcohol. Yeah! But if I’m in different places, I will definitely want to taste delicacies.

“If I’m in the east, I will want to eat eastern soup. If I’m in Liberia, I will want to take Liberian foods. If I’m in Ghana, I will want to eat Ghanaian foods. If I’m in the north, in Nigeria, I will want to northern foods. I will want to take Tuwo.

“So I mean these are things that I would love to eat but not before I get on stage.”

Sharing the teaser, the “Wagwan” crooner captioned post: “I had so much fun on my episode of @recordingacademy ‘Herbal Tea & White Sofas.”
