A group known as the All Progressives Congress Network For Good Governance Nigeria has called on the Governor of lmo State Emeka Ihedioha to concentrate on governance of the state and leave former governor Rochas Okorocha alone.

National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Okpekor Ndep, said Okorocha, presently a Senator should be allowed to concentrate on his duties as a legislator rather than being distracted by the governor.

According to Ndep, the governor’s constant attacks on Okorocha was a demonstration of the pull-him-down syndrome in politics which should be discouraged.

He also commended Okorocha for his initiative to diversify the economy with emphasis on tourism as this would reduce over dependence on oil as well as create more jobs.

The group lauded Okorocha for his victories at the Tribunal and Court of Appeal, saying it was a demonstration that the APC would continue to wax stronger in the South East.

“Senator Okorocha is a father to the downtrodden,a philanthropist and a sincere humanitarian and his victories are the true reflection of the wishes of his constituents.

“He is a man who is naturally endowed with an aura of success, whose contributions to society would forever be etched in the mind of Nigerians. As a political juggernaut, an eagle of the South East and a favourite of the masses, we pray God to bless him more with wisdom to discharge his duties very well as he did when he was governor,” Okpa said.
