The chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifako-Ijaiye, Prince Usman Hamzat (UAH) has visited monarchs, Muslim and Christian clerics for support, royal blessings, and prayers.

Hamzat was accompanied on the visit by his running mate, Oluwatoyin Awoniyi Akerele and councillorship candidates.

The team visited the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ifako-Ijaiye Muslim Community, the Olu of Iju-Ishaga, and the Council of Baales in Ifako-Ijaiye, respectively.

At separate gatherings,  President of Ifako-Iajiye Musli, Community, Alhaji Lateef Sunmonu and his CAN counterpart, Messenger Olubode Sobukola JP urged the candidates to honour their commitment to truly serving the people.

The campaign train also visited the palace of the Olu of Iju-Ishaga, Oba Abbas Ajibode and Baales at NRC building in Iju. The monarch advised the candidates to change the narratives of governance in the council area while the Baales confirmed their readiness to mobilize support for APC candidates in the forthcoming local government elections scheduled for July 24.
