Some 47 schools across six local governments in Ogun State will vie for honours in the 2020 edition of the Lisabi Cup football competition which commences today in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The draws for the tournament, which is organised to commemorate the annual Lisabi Day Festival, were made on Sunday at the Alake Palace in the ancient city.
There are 32 male teams and 15 female teams from six local governments of Abeokuta North and South, Odeda, Ewekoro, Ifo and Obafemi/Owode in Egba will take part in the 9-day competition.
The tournament will end on February 14 with matches to be played across six match centres.
