Lupita Nyong’o parties with D’Banj on 37th birthday

Oscar-winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o turned 37 on March 1 and she partied with D’Banj to celebrate her birthday in Nigeria.

The Kenyan-born actress was wowed when top Nigerian entertainers joined D’Banj to celebrate her 37th birthday in Lagos, Nigeria.

Other entertainers and celebrities that attended Nyong’o’s 37th birthday include Teni the entertainer, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Simi Esiri, and Chimamanda Adichie.

Nyong’o is currently in Lagos filming some scenes for a new movie, ‘Americanah’ and she decided to party the Nigerian way.

In 2019, Nyong’o and Danai Gurira’s got the nod of HBO Max to produce the Chimamanda Adichie’s book adaptation, ‘Americanah’.

HBO Max gave the nod for Nyong’o and Gurira to produce a limited series of 10-episode order with Nyong’o starring in the series, and Gurira writing the pilot and serving as showrunner.
