Penny Pinar Karabey is the founder of Luxury Next Season. A brand that focuses on providing the most sought after and most exclusive fashion designs.

She was born on the 3rd of November, 1975 in Istanbul Turkey. She is a New Yorker with a unique taste in fashion and accessories. She believes that her style is “uptown luxury meets downtown edge mixed with European modernity”. She is a beautiful and hardworking woman and believes that fashion can change the world, one person, at a time.

One thing Penny totally dislikes is the colour black. She never uses it to make a design and it’s because of black casts shadows. Penny loves colors and loves to experiment using different colors. She believes in taking risks and to her, honesty should come before your need to make a sale in any business, especially fashion.

She is a woman of many experiences having worked on the runway, designed jewelries, worked in IT for 20 years, is a computer engineer and now, has a fashion brand of her own. If you need a little inspiration in the fashion industry, Penny is the one you should look up to.

Loving fashion as much as she did and wanting to always be unique, Penny found out that at the Upper East Side where she grew, there was a fashion gap. This meant that sought-after and rare fashion pieces were almost never available so, she decided to start a business providing such fashion pieces for people who want them and so far, it has been a wonderful journey.

She is a member of a kit of fashion groups and communities and she recently founded the #NationalAccesoryDay which is a day for those who love accessories to share their favourites and have time to come together and meet with others who love accessories as much as they do.

The most satisfying part of her job is when she goes for shows. She loves the atmosphere and how the colors make everywhere alive. Penny’s unique selling point is her ability to find the rarest and often extremely limited fashion pieces. This endears her to her many clients and she’s most grateful for social media.

She says that one of her most effective advertising media is YouTube saying that a lot of Youtubers who buy outfits from her end up giving them great reviews and from those amazing reviews, she gets new people who want to buy an item or two.

She’s also Instagram savvy as she uses her page to teach people style hacks and how to choose the best outfits. She’s a mother and a lover of family. What else? Did I tell you that her style icon is Anna Della Rosso? Now I have.
