South African hip-hop artiste, Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo aka Nasty C, has spoken on his music inspirations.
He said he has been inspired by many Nigerian rappers and Ghanaian prodigy Sakordie.
He also revealed that rappers from his native country, including the late AKA and Cassper Nyovest, served as inspiration for him.
The 26-year-old revealed this in an interview with Afrozons podcast.

He said: “My pioneers for hip-hop in Africa in no order are M.I, Sakordie, Olamide, Phyno, AKA, Cassper, Naeto C… There’s so many.”
Nasty C has collaborated with several artists across the continent including Burna Boy, Runtown and Davido.
