Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and Olubadan of Ibadan Oba Saliu Adetunji are among dignitaries expected at the 20th coronation anniversary of Onipetu of Ijeru, Ogbomoso, Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran.
Former governors Abiola Ajimobi and Adebayo Alao Akala are also expected at the event, according to a statement by the monarch.
The week-long event will begin on December 13 with a special jumat service, to be followed by a ‘Prayer Walk’ for Ijeruland, Oyo and Nigeria.

On December 15, there will be cultural displays and interdenominational prayers for the ancient town, a film show and distribution of free bibles.
The grand finale is on December 18 at the Methodist Basic School, Arowomole, Ogbomoso.
Oba Oyediran said the anniversary is to appreciate God’s grace and mercy for a peaceful 20-year reign.
