THE police in Ogun State have arrested a man Kazeem Yusuf, 28, who reportedly bolted after beating his 26-year-old wife to death.
Yusuf allegedly beat his wife to death on September 23 and reported to the Enugada Divisional Police Headquarters that his wife slumped and died on her way to fetch water, but while detectives who accompanied him to the scene were scrutinising the corpse of the deceased wife, he sneaked out and disappeared from sight.
The Nation gathered that police found him on October 14 and arrested.
