A DEADLY blow from a farmer, Mr. Eric Olowokande, on his wife, Mojere, has led to her death.
The incident happened at Yaba Street in Idanre, Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Witnesses said Olowokande had a quarrel with his wife that led to a fight.
He hit her hard and she fell and was rushed to hospital where she was confirmed dead.
Olowokande fled to evade arrest.
Police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro confirmed the incident, adding that the man had been arrested and that investigation into the incident has has begun.
