KATSINA State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari on Sunday in Government House Katsina decried the attitude of those refusing to be screened at entry points including halls of event, shopping malls and other public places, warning that coronavirus doesn’t recognise personality nor look at faces
Masari who made the above declaration during a news briefing also rolled out other severe measures which he said were urgently needed to be put in place to speed up efforts in other to stem the spread of the virus in the state
Some of the newly introduced measures which he rolled out include: instructing shop owners, evens and managers of tourist and entrainment placers to position hand sanitizers and other screening practices at their entrances

He also ordered a review of the transportation system especially those on interstate boundaries to ensure efficient hygienic practices especially at the motor parks
He warned households not to withhold the identity of their relations the returned from abroad, but to isolate them for the mandatory 14 days and report to hospitals immediately symptoms of the virus were noticed.
The governor also ordered security agencies to go round the shops and public places to enforce the measures he has introduce
He said’ ‘government is making available funding to the Ministry of Health to ensure our hospitals are better positioned with basic requirements that shall include personal protective equipment and other supportive commodities to handle any eventuality should a confirmed be identified”
