HIP hop artiste, Maryam Shuaibu, better known as May Shua, has promised an all-round entertainment ahead of her debut musical concert, tagged, ‘May Shua Live in Concert’, which takes place on May 29, 2019 in Auchi, Edo state.
The talented rapper, singer, songwriter and performer who stormed the country’s entertainment scene some years ago said taking the concert to Auchi is to unleash her musical prowess on people of Edo State and music lovers around the world.
“Yeah, I am taking the party back home, if you know what I mean,” she said.
“I am really anticipating to showcase my stagecraft fused with melodic rhythm to my fans worldwide. It will be an exciting and intriguing concert.”
Apart from music, the event will also feature great comedians include Klint da Drunk, MC Abbey, among others.
The concert is in collaboration with NTA and Uzairue & Cozmedia Productions.
May Shua started her music career on a streak, featuring heavyweights acts including Oritse Femi, DeeTunes, Koker, Fliptyce, Indomix, Samklef and Sagzy.
She appears to have continued with the same energy.
“The burning passion for my craft that’s ever budding within me, keeps me very motivated to get better and do better every single day,” said the artiste who started music solely for leisure.
“Since I started, I have recorded a reasonable amount of released and unreleased songs under my belt. I have done several singles with quite a couple of other musicians and music producers,” she said.
“In the next five years, I hope to be very healthy and psychologically stable, so that other amazing growth can come organically.”
