Nollywood actress and producer, Mercy Aigbe has teamed up with filmmaker, Abiodun Jimoh for a new film.
The new film, ‘Agbeke Ayaoba,’ has Yoruba as the major language and will be directed by Jimoh while Aigbe plays the film’s protagonist as well as the producer.
According to sources at the movie set, the cast and crew recently concluded shooting of the film under Jimoh’s watch.

Aigbe tells the story of a community, Ayedunungbe, that would not welcome the king’s new beautiful queen, Queen Agbeke. The queen came prepared for the unfriendly people she met.
The film features some of Jimoh’s regulars, Olaide Almaroof and Anike Ami and other major acts like Baba Wande, Muyiwa Ademola, Mercy Aigbe, Kayode Aderupoko, Omowunmi Ajiboye, Aisha Lawal, Ireti Osayemi, Wale Akorede, Ayobami Ojo, Bamgbode Babatunde, Olasunkanmi Akanni, Tosin Olutoki, Femi Akinyemi, Bola Majid and Kehinde Abimbola.
