Queensland start-up, Clipchamp, has recently become Australia’s first Microsoft acquisition in over a decade, which had raised a total of $15.3 million in previous financial funding. 

Clipchamp is an in-browser video editor enabling content creators, educators, students, small business owners, and anyone interested to share their stories through video. 

Since founded in 2013, the Aussie start-up now has over 17 million creative users spread across 200 countries. But creative individuals aren’t the only ones using the free online video editor. 390,000 notable businesses are sharing their stories through Clipchamps user-friendly interface, including reputable companies Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, Dell, and Zendesk Inc.
