Experts in Mining and Geoscience said the mining sector has become a hub of activities and a destination of choice for many would-be local and foreign investors.
President, Nigerian Mining and Geoscience Society (NMGS) and Director-General, Mining Cadastre Office (MCO), Engr. Obadiah Nkom, said this at his installation ceremony as the 30th President of NMGS in Abuja.
He added that investors are willing to key into the new developments in the sector, which will continue with vigour, as the government enters its next level of development.

Nkom also said “The Ministry of Mines and Steel Development have become a hub of activities and a destination of choice for many would-be local and foreign investors willing to key into the new development; it is my belief that this will continue with vigour as the government enters its next level of development.
