The Baale of Ogombo in Eti Osa Local Government of Lagos State, Chief Abiodun Ogunbo, has urged his subjects to make unity their watchword.
He said this is necessary for the development of the community.
The monarch told reporters at an Eid-el-Kabir event he organised that peaceful coexistence and support from his subjects would attract investments to the community, enhance development and improve the standard of living.
He advised youths to be good ambassadors of the community, saying they should not allow themselves to be used as instruments of destruction.
The traditional ruler hailed Noheem Adams, the lawmaker representing Eti Osa Constituency in the House of Assembly, for attracting development to his community.
He lamented the abandonment of the Lekki Phase 2 Scheme at Abraham Adesanya area, “which has become a hideout for criminals.
“We implore Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to help us look into this problem and take necessary actions.”
