THE highest-ever COVID-19 cases were confirmed last night by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in 18 states with Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic recording 183.
Thursay’s confirmation took the national tally to 3526 out which 601 patients have been treated and discharged. The NCDC put the death figures at 107.

The other states are: Kano (55); Jigawa (44); Zamfara and Bauchi (19 each); Katsina (11); Borno (nine); Kwara (eight); Kaduna (seven); Gombe (six); Ogun (five); Sokoto (four); three each in Oyo and Rivers; Niger (two) and one each in Akwa Ibom, Enugu and Plateau.
