A Canadian-based Nigerian filmmaker, Pascal Atuma, has urged the Nigerian government to enact a new law to make embezzlement of government funds a crime punishable by death sentence.
He made this call through his Instagram page.

Atuma complained of the incessant fraudulent practices being perpetrated by politicians in the country,
He lamented why politicians would be walking around freely while they have been accused of looting the treasury dry.
He also called on his fellow artist in the country to lend their voices in condemning corruption.
He, however, accused some of them who according to him, are a part of the corruption thus their inability to voice out their complaints against fraudulent politicians.
In his words, he proffered that the firing squad sentence will instill fear and discourage the flagrant abuse of public trust like the NDDC and EFCC’s saga.
