No victim died in our care, says Navy Hospital

ACTING Commander, Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, Ojo, Abubakar Aliyu has stated that no victim of the Abule-Ado explosions died at the hospital.

According to him, six persons were brought in dead and are currently in the mortuary. Three more dead bodies were later brought in after Sunday’s evacuation and put up in the mortuary.

He said “there are six persons currently on admission, four of which are females and three males. One male is currently on admission at the Intensive Care Unit and fortunately, he is responding well to treatment.

Aliyu pointed out that members of The Nigerian Red Cross brought in the patients “All the families of the patients have been contacted. The Red Cross has been able to ensure that, even some of their church members were contacted”
