NIGERIAN Union of Journalists (NUJ) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has commiserated with Chairperson of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) in FCT Annah Daniel on the death of her daughter, Gloria Chiki.
A statement yesterday in Abuja, signed by Emmanuel Ogbeche and Ochiaka Ugwu, chairman and secretary, said Gloria’s death came as a shock.
It said the late Gloria was an epitome of good character, with the fear of God.
“The members of NUJ, FCT Council, condole with the Chairperson of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), FCT Chapter, Comrade Annah Daniel, on the death of her 12-year old daughter, Gloria…”
The deceased died at Nigeria Customs Service Hospital, Karu, Abuja, yesterday.
Burial arrangements will be announced by the family.
