The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has commenced collation of the Presidential election results for Imo State at its headquarters in Owerri, the state capital.
The Labour Party(LP) Presidential candidate Peter Obi is leading in the results announced so far.
Results from eight Local Governments have been collated by the LG Collation officers under the watch of Prof. Charles Esimone, Vice Chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra, who is the Collation Officer for Imo State.
