The Annual General Meeting of Ogun State chapter of Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), will be held between 8th – 13th August, 2021 at NMA house, Lukosi, Abeokuta.
A statement issued on Friday by the Vice Chairman of the association, Osisanwo Deborah said the event themed: “Preparedness of 21st Century Doctors in the Management of Pandemics in Nigeria’’ will focus on Ogun state.
The event is expected to bring together all medical practitioners from across the state.
She noted that the theme of the AGM was carefully chosen to x-ray the readiness of health workers in the state in the management of ravaging pandemics.
“The sub-themes were also carefully chosen to reflect on security challenges, health and life insurance as it affects medical doctors in Ogun State”.
She added that activities lined up for this year’s AGM will include: Jumat prayers at the Central Mosque on Friday, August 13, at FMC Abeokuta, while the thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday, August 8 at St Paul’s Cathedral Church (Church Gogoro), Oke-Ijagba, Along Makun Road, Sagamu.
