By Adeola Ogunlade

The General Overseer of Christ the Living Apostolic Mandate (CLAM) Lagos, Apostle Wole Oladiyun, has called on church leaders to put aside their differences and work together toward the advancement of the Kingdom of God in Nigeria.

Oladiyun said this at the just- concluded 8th edition of the End Time General Ministers Conference at Vineyard Christian Ministry, Lagos.

The programme tagged God’s battle axe attracted church leaders from across the country and featured prayer, teachings and prophetic ministration.

He said: “We need to be together in purpose, not in doctrines. We may have our dogmas and styles but let us put them aside for the purpose of expanding the kingdom.”

He noted that Nigeria needs the voice of the church in the area of advocacy, industry, media.

“We need to take over agriculture and be in different parastatals and be part of the affairs of the nation because we are the light of the world,” he stressed.

Oladiyun argued the church needs to restore values that have been eroded in families, put people in governance and tell them about biblical advocacy and governance.

“We need to talk to people about biblical economic because everything is in the bible.

“We need to give people hope and be involved in humanitarian services in all the 774 local government. We need to have a united voice,” he said.

He noted the church was making great impact across all sectors in but stressed “we need to do more and make our impact count.

“God has given us the grace through the eyes of the Holy Spirit to do things right. We can normalise this country if we unite together (CAN and PFN).

“Let us put away our differences, there is no perfect man or perfect person but through the help of the Holy Spirit, we will move this nation forward,” Oladiyun said.

He appealed to Nigerians in part of the north who are going through the horror of terrorism not to give up hope.

He called for more support to people in Internally Displaced Camps (IDPs) across the north so that they get their lives back and lead a normal life.

Convener of the programme, Pastor Folake Adeyeye, said it was conceived to equip and raise generals as battle axe in the hands of God.

She said that if a nation refuses to recruit new army, they will submit to the enemies, noting that the old fathers in the faith are dying and need to deliberately pass on the batons for new generals so that the kingdom race can continue unhindered.

“Our generals are dying and the mantles need to be passed on. New generals need to be recruited and equipped by our fathers so that as they pass on to glory, the work of the kingdom,” she said.

Adeyeye challenged church leaders to be available for God’s use as the harvest for the end time mandate of soul winning is plenteous but the labourers are few.

“God is looking for generals, new vessels that are available to be used for his people. As many that are willing and available, God is ready to pour himself on them to go all over the world to impact lives, set the captive free and harvest souls for the kingdom,” she said.
