A former commissioner in Ogun State, High Chief Waliu Ojuko, has hailed Olota of Ota, Prof Abdulkabir Obalanlege, for his commitment to the peace and development of Aworiland and Ogun State.
He described the renowned Mass Communication don-turned Kabiyesi as a leader who always inspires his people.
Ojuko, in a congratulatory message to the monarch on his second coronation anniversary, said: “It is an indisputable fact that Ota has witnessed unprecedented development in all areas since the Kabiyesi ascended the throne of his forefathers two years ago.
“Aworiland has also enjoyed peace and harmony among the inhabitants.”
Ojuko wished the Kabiyesi a prosperous reign on the throne.
“It is my prayer that Allah will continue to preserve him for many more years and grant him good health so that he can continue to remain a source of inspiration to his subjects in Aworiland and Nigerians in general,” he said.
He urged the Kabiyesi to cooperate with other monarchs especially the existing paramount rulers to enhance the standard of traditional institutions in the state.
