Omo-Agege lauds Oshiomhole at 68

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege on Friday said that the National Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has etched an indelible footprint on the social, economic and political affairs of the country.

Omo-Agege in a goodwill message personally signed by him to mark Oshiomhole’s 68th birthday, he commended the former labour leader for his services to fatherland.

“Given your activist record as a unionist whose impactful leadership directly touched the lives of your union members and influenced government policies and decisions, you have paid your dues.

“And, as the National Chairman of Nigeria’s ruling progressive party, the All Progressives Congress, your leadership is of historical significance as the nation battles to extricate itself from the shackles of underdevelopment and move to the next level of prosperity for all and sundry.

“I have no doubt that the common threads of patriotism and unyielding idealism towards the welfare of all as exemplified by your activism as well as the progressive ideals that our party holds dear, all signpost the immense positive possibilities ahead.

“And so, on behalf of my family, my dear constituents and the entire membership of the APC South-South, we wish you good health and more fulfilling years ahead,” Omo-Agege who doubles as Leader of the APC in the South-South stated.
