Ondo LG chairman lists achievements in first 100 days

The chairman of Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Esan Owolabi, has completed the grading of community roads and reconstruction of collapsed bridges in communities in the council area within his 100 days in office.

Listing his achievements in his first 100 days in office, Owolabi , in a statement said the projects were in line with the vision of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to develop all communities across the state.

According to him, the projects executed include the inauguration of a volunteer security formation for community policing in the local government area. This, he said is part of the overall strategy to combat insecurity in the LGA.

 The statement read in part: ‘’Others are grading of community streets’ road in the council area; reconstruction of bridge located at Ubalo along Okerun road ,Irun Akoko; reconstruction of bridge located at Maternity Road ,Arigid Akoko Ward 1 and reconstruction of Bridge located at Abilogbo street, Ogbagi Akoko.

He also listed projects to include the ongoing-construction of industrial Borehole Projects at Okeagbe Akoko, Erusu Akoko,Ikaram Akoko respectively and the installation of the solar lighting power across the 10 wards in the local government.
