Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Tuesday begun the reconstruction of the Atakumosa market in Ilesa five years after it was gutted by fire.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, noted that the market would be rebuilt in collaboration with the World Bank through the Osun Community and Social Development Project (CSDP).
Oyetola said reconstruction of the N200 million market was to fulfil his administration’s electoral promises to provide security and guarantee the people’s welfare.
