The Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola and Speaker, House of Assembly, Hon. Timothy Owoeye has congratulated a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly and current Executive Director, Marketing and Business Development at the Nigeria Communications Satellite Limited (NigComSat), Rt. Hon. Najeem Salam on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
Oyetola in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, described Salam as a worthy son of Osun, progressive politician and loyal party man, who is committed to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
“Rt. Hon. Najeem Salaam is a distinguished son of Osun, progressive politician and loyal party man, who is committed to the ideals of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, APC.”
Equally, Owoeye through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Kunle Alabi described the former Speaker as a true pathfinder, a predecessor whose contributions to the state are indelible and worthy of emulation.
Owoeye said Salaam’s trajectory in service saw him taking up worthy causes as the Speaker of Osun for no personal gains as long as they served humanity.
The Speaker also commended Rt. Hon. Salaam for providing effective leadership for the 5th and 6th Assembly in Osun through the passage of bills for the smooth running of the state with former Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
