Everyone will admit that it has been a turbulent season for Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assemblies (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo. Although the court has dismissed the rape allegation levelled against him by celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo, it hit him hard.
Recall that Dakolo alleged last year that the Abuja-based pastor raped her twice in one week at 17 freshly out of secondary school. However, a judge, Othman Musa, dismissed the allegation against Fatoyinbo, saying it was statute-barred because it happened decades ago. The judge also said the case was aimed more at punishing the pastor than obtaining justice.
It appears Fatoyinbo has found a way to get his groove back. On Wednesday, the pastor and his wife, Modele, celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. There had a lovely dinner celebration with their children and it was hard to ignore the smile as well as the relief on his face.
